Dublin artist, Peter O’Connor will showcase a collection of new paintings at The Ireland Institute in October.
During the last 18 months, we have experienced extraordinary upheaval in all our lives. Empty streets, restaurants and even beaches were commonplace. The Great Return documents life as we knew it, also what we have to look forward to in the near future. The use of light and shadow in the colourful street and beach scenes, capturing images of everyday life, are fundamental to Peter’s practice.
O’Connor is a full time artist, having spent many years in construction. He is known for his figurative and street scene paintings, capturing a moment in time. He exhibits regularly in Merrion Square and at Art Source.
The Ireland Institute is an Historical and Cultural centre located in what was the family home of Patrick and Willie Pearse.
Covid-19 guidelines and social distancing measures will apply.
