MULTITUDES features a collection of Karin’s new Pop Art digital prints. She draws on photographs of Rock Stars as a source for these works, but the images do not have a snapshot quality, but follow a careful choreography. Listening again to the Avant-Garde Rock of the 1970’s, such as that of Bryan Ferry was a trigger for her to recall the creative potential of Pop Art. Karin makes use of it’s language with it’s intense colours and strong outlines in these finely observed works.
